How Certification Works

To get certified:

Purchase and Download the Lasso Safe Playbook and receive a step-by-step guide to efficiently and economically plan your certification process.
Fill out the Application Form.
Pass the Minimum Program Requirements (MPRs).
Start planning your community’s unique certification. Lasso Safe credits allow sport leaders to customize how they pursue Lasso Safe Certified. By fulfilling credits, sport communities earn points that, once added together, determine a project’s certification level. Learn more about prerequisites, credits and points.
Fees. View the fees table to find the Lasso Safe registration and certification costs for your community.
Build your team. Goals and roles are key elements to consider when starting any project and it’s no different in Lasso Safe. There could be several people who are members of the safety team.
Register your project in Lasso Safe online and get started with your personally assigned policy leader and engagement director.

Once your safe sport community has earned Lasso Safe certification, there are some steps you can take to promote or maintain your certification.

Get the word out; as a certified member, you earn the Lasso Safe stamp which lets your community and customers know that you are among the leading safe sport communities in the world.
Apply for a Lasso Safe spotlight. Every quarter, we promote a new certified member, promoting their achievements in our international sport community.
Protect your investment with Lasso Safe re-certification. This new guidance presents a simple and data-driven pathway, reassuring communitys that they are meeting ever-advancing goals and staying on the cutting edge.
